Even if you don’t want to “scrapbook” many people want to preserve the warm fuzzies of the first year of being a mom or of baby’s first year highlights. Your baby may be infant, 10, 20, 30, but what a wonderful gift for your child, no matter the age. Most of us didn’t know about scrapbooking OR as a busy mom, sometimes just thinking of what to scrapbook can be overwhelming. Your child will appreciate anything you create!

Its no problem if you didn’t start with January. WOW, I have to say that I’m really liking the idea of CALENDAR kit club!!! I don’t always have enough layouts for entire layout, but the pics are special just the same. Here is a great way to scrapbook random photos. At a recent crop Valine & Vanessa were talking about how much they LOVE the monthly pages. See what my 3 friends say about it:

Valine: I like the calendar because it allows more opportunities to scrap events that happen during the month. I might only have one or two pictures of an activity that occurred during the month and the calendar kit provides a showcase for that memory. Since I do not have young children, the calendar kit gives me a chance to document seasonal activities without being too “theme” like. Bottom line-I just love it! Helps me “cheat”a bit with my project life:)

Liz: I do my scrapbook in calendar year so I use each calendar month as a divider in my scrapbook. Also I don’t necessarily scrapbook everything in that month but like to keep track of certain events.

Vanessa: I like the calendar pages because I like chronicling a few events during the month. I usually do not have pictures of some of the holidays (Valentine or St. Patrick) or I may have one picture of that event (many times I create those just to add to the calendar page). I really like showing the month of activities.

So I’m going to start with July page-I think I’m LOVING this idea!! Thanks girls for sharing a great secret!! The Calendar kit club is awesome for that.
