I’m so excited to get one layout created for January.    I just love the idea of getting at least one photo onto a Monthly Layout to document random memories for January.   Now of course, my plans (which may happen in 2023) are to create an individual layout for the last MM CCL (very emotional time), Everyone trying on my wedding gown, Snow in Alabama, & Engagement Pictures.   Normally I wouldn’t have scrapped NYE, Julie’s birthday or Snow Day in Alabama because I only had 3 photos so just another reason I love this new way of scrappin’.  I’m thinking I may add some hidden journaling so i can remember the details of these memories

So I hope to challenge you to get your random photos for January on a page this week because guess what??  February is almost over!!

I just HATE pictures of me . . . before I appreciate  the beautiful smile of Justin, that precious dimple of Dane’s and my heart smiles everytime I look at my hubby, I notice that when i laugh (or should i say nervously smile for the camera) i tilt my head and get that ridiculous double chin, or i nervously cock that leg (as hard as I try to tell myself NOT to do that-i hate it lol).  But after reading Karen Russell’s email about this blog posting WOW-wake up call!!!!  I want to take a picture every day & any place of me with all the beautiful people in my life so they can be “caught up in loving me”  ha ha, for real, that’s WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT!!!  Read it Myfriendteresablog.com .    Let’s let the focus be about “LOVE” in all of our snapshots & give our family something to hold onto once we’re gone !!

Someone is slacking , big time lol.  Sorry guys, it was my sisters birthday yesterday (you know we can’t say ages anymore but at least she’s one year younger than me), and I didn’t even think about Masters until this morning.  But, i promise its worth the wait.

Layout inspiration this week from Stephanie Powers!!   I love this crazy pic of Stephanie & her son.    What a cool & different layout!!  I also love the group of stickers and the photos set at a diamond angle.  Great job Steph.

Another great idea!!  I love these crazy pics-the first thing I thought when i saw this layout was, I sure wish i thought to take photos of routine, family times.  I always think about it while we are eating then we get lost in conversation & laughs and I usually leave without the photo.  Steph, you do a great job of documenting the fun times of your everyday family life–KUDOS to you!!

Good Morning!!   What a beautiful weekend it has been!!    KUDOS to all the scrappers at the St. Theresa Crop!!!  In case you didn’t get to make time to crop, I’m sending you this motivation this morning   I’m reorganizing my scrap room, so I’m definitely in the mood to scrap as I drool over all of the blue embellishments in my collection  lol.  I’m sure you already know this-but BLUE is my happy color!!!  What’s yours?

We are showcasing Noelle Landry’s scrapbook layouts using the December Masters Kit today.  In Noelle’s layout above-i love how she cut out the elements from the printed paper to pop dot & create embellishments.

WOW-i always need about 6 Christmas layouts, so i appreciate the ideas from the design team on these.  I love how Noelle used the burlap ribbon – very creative!!

I was determined to leave the emotions locked up and end the weekend with “Peace Out” but wow, when I pressed “Shut Down” on the computer, the emotions were more than I could keep inside  (I’m such a girl  ha ha).  Being the scrapbooker at heart, of course, I tried to pull myself together & come back in & snap photos with so many of you that have become soooo dear to my heart, but again those darn emotions were more than I could handle, and I didn’t get to finish making my rounds-but its OK, i have a photo of each of you stamped in my heart!!!  I’m sorry, this is going to be a super long post-but I promise not to be too-sappy for the rest . . .

Miss ya’ll already!!   This was my favorite CCL-bar none!!  The random acts of kindness, the camaraderie, sharing, laughing, chatting–its just so cool to be surrounded by people that “get you” and that’s all of us!!   I only have 2 regrets:  That I didn’t get everyone in the group photo (many were at dinner) and that I didn’t get a photo with each and every one of you!! But soo glad I had the sanity to walk back in & catch some of these.

Everyone was soooo sweet, gracious & appreciative!!  Don’t forget to support Cane’s (how sweet that was of Todd Graves) and Nelly V’s & Pine Lily Scrapbook Houses for their awesome donation of scraptime!!!

I hope you liked the “the little piece of Memory Mania” that my mom made for each of you <3  WOW, how can I ever thank her enough for all of that work .

As you can imagine, it takes a great deal of work for over 6 months getting everything together!!   A Great big SHOUT OUT to these wonderful, talented ladies (and husband) that have helped me throughout the year and unbelievably over the weekend-no words could ever express the appreciation I feel in my heart for you:    John, Murphy, Allison Braud, Sue Quinn, Nancy Ruiz,  Judy Bullion, Julie & Carly Melancon!!!   It would take 10 posts to list everything they did-so thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Also, CCL could never take place without  “THE CREW” , they help with the setup, tables, auctions, room goodies, store, take-down, classes, etc.  Again there are no words to express my appreciation for all that you did for me & for my friends of CCL!!!!

“Our Memories with the Smiths” by Heather Banker

I love how the generic prints are just perfect for any theme.  I like how Heather used the journal card for the title & highlighted the focal photo with the banner stickers. Love this simple design-easy to scraplift.

SMHS Homecoming

Loving the hexagons & chevrons. I think chevrons have almost replaced stripes in most companies new papers-Chevrons seem to be popular in fabrics also this year!  Love this chevron ribbon from Crafty Shack-ruffle & staples is a fast and easy way to add dimension to any page.  Great pictures-looks like this group had a great time for homecoming.  KUDOS Heather–thanks for inspiring us with the October Masters Kit.
